Community Resources for Families
Our goal is to help promote safe and stable families by offering information, education and resources within the community. For guidance and assistance in locating or navigating services in the community to meet your family's needs.  Please contact The Elaine Clark Center at 770-458-3251 or email at information@elaineclarkcenter.org.

Pediatric Nursing

The Elaine Clark Center has a Certified Pediatric Nurse on staff every workday from 8:30 am to 2:30 PM.

Because we have a nurse on staff, we can offer a wide range of health services including, but not limited to: medication administration (including injections of insulin for diabetic children), G-tube feedings, Tracheotomy care, cardiac/apnea monitoring, oxygen administration, urinary catheterization, blood pressure monitoring & asthma management.

Our nurse does not diagnose illness, but will work closely with your child’s pediatrician and therapists to optimize a daily program.

As in any community setting, children with acute illness (fever, diarrhea, vomiting, or other contagious diseases) are not allowed to attend while they are ill. We can, however, care for children with such problems as reflux, chronic stomach or bowel problems, seizures, or temperature instability due to neurological conditions, with consultation from their pediatrician.
